Merry Christmas and Jingle Bells

Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you all had a fun and relaxing day yesterday. Ryan, the kids and I had a great day together. Mom and Dad were in Alabama with Tim and Leia enjoying Claire's first Christmas and Carrie, Dan and the boys were in Virginia with Dan's family. So we were able to get up and enjoy the day with just the four of us. We all ended up staying in our pajamas all day which worked out well since it was cold and raining outside. Katherine and Thomas seemed to enjoy what they got for Christmas.

Katherine got a Chemistry set (she has become a real science wiz and enjoys doing experiments), Eeyore pajamas (she wanted some to match the ones I have), new shoes, The Hannah Montana movie (I actually watched this with her and it's not as bad as you think it would be), and clothes(not that she really needed any but I found some great clearance deals).

Thomas got a Thomas the train set with four train pieces, playdough kit with accesories (he loves this stuff), Greens Eggs and Ham book (the little boy I watch has this book and Thomas loves it - we have read it 5 times already), a new set of blocks, and a I want to potty book (I don't think I need to explain why I got him this).

I have been working with Thomas on singing Jingle Bells on camera and I got him a few times singing a little bit but this morning he finally sang most of the song ( or at least the part he remembered). It turned out a little dark but hopefully you can see it okay.

Lights of the South

Last weekend Ryan and I took Katherine and Thomas to Lights of the South. It is a big farm land area of about 100 acres that is decorated every year for Christmas. Last year when we went it was very cold. This year was perfect because the weather wasn't too bad. Thomas loved the hay ride we took to look at all the lights. Katherine and Ryan enjoyed going through a Christmas Maze of Lights. I went through it with them and it was actually pretty hard to find your way out of. We had a great time. Enjoy the pictures!!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful week with the family. Tim, Leia, and Claire came over from Alabama and stayed for the week. It was a lot of fun to see them and I can't believe how big Claire has gotten. Carrie, Dan and the boys came over everyday to mom's. It was so great to see how much Atticus and Isaiah are walking now. They may live close to me but unfortunately I don't get to see them that often. We enjoyed each day hanging out and eating way too much food, thanks to mom! She is such an awesome cook! Dad of course was also very helpful. It is so great to live close to my parents and see them not just for the holidays but all the time. Enjoy the pictures!

The Pumpkin Patch

This past Saturday mom invited Katherine and Thomas to go to a pumpkin patch. The kids had a lot of fun picking out their own pumpkins. Enjoy the pictures!!

Katherine has informed me that she must be in "high fashion" in order for her picture to be taken. She got new shoes and a new scarf this past weekend so she decided to dress up and pose!!
