The Pumpkin Patch

This past Saturday mom invited Katherine and Thomas to go to a pumpkin patch. The kids had a lot of fun picking out their own pumpkins. Enjoy the pictures!!

Katherine has informed me that she must be in "high fashion" in order for her picture to be taken. She got new shoes and a new scarf this past weekend so she decided to dress up and pose!!

Rainy Day Fun

This past weekend was rainy and cold. Katherine had fun entertaining herself with crafts. I was only able to get one picture of her since she is starting to fight with me about getting her picture taken.

I did however get a cute video of Katherine and Thomas spinning in her desk chair.

Thomas had fun trying on his Halloween costume which is Batman. I had to hide it from him because he wanted to wear it all day and I was afraid it would get ruined before Halloween got here. He also got a pirate hat and eye patch from Dollar Tree which I must say he looks really cute wearing. Ryan went hunting this weekend and Thomas got a hold of his orange ski mask which looks quite funny. I also tried to get a nice picture of Thomas and Katherine before church on Sunday but Katherine wouldn't behave so I got one of just Thomas. (I remember getting to this phase with my parents and not wanting to do pictures - now I know how aggravating I was. Enjoy the pictures!

New Beds!!

The time arrived last weekend for Thomas to be moved out of his crib. We never had a problem with him trying to get out till last Saturday. I had put him to bed and heard him asking to get out. When I went in to check on him he was half way in and half way out of his crib. I stood back and watched him climb out of his crib. When he was done he just looked at me and smiled. I told him to go tell his dad what he did. So he walks into the living room and says, "Daddy I climb out of bed!" Ryan got up, got his tools and we took the side off his crib. Thankfully we have one of those cribs that convert to a toddler bed by just removing the side. Katherine was excited that Thomas was done with his crib because this meant he was getting her bed and she was getting a new one. And not only a new one but a bigger one. We were going to upgrade her to a full size bed but we received a big surprise this week. My boss, Lori, who just had a baby 2 weeks ago was getting rid of her very nice queen size bed to make room for the new one. So we graciously took it off her hands today and Katherine is now sleeping in her new queen size bed tonight. We are very thankful for God's provision because I don't know how many of you have been bed shopping lately but it can be very expensive. So now my daughter is sleeping in a FREE beautiful new bed. I honestly think her bed is better than mine!! Maybe she will trade with me? You be the judge - how happy does she look in the picture below!!

I also got a before and after shot of Thomas! He slept great last night in his new bed!
